text> With this project we do not pretend to teach or explain what Shoah is and was. We want to create question mark as a place. The goal is to design that place to make people getting closer; to keep sensations and memory alive.
The project is a big spiral to where going through. A place to imagine and feel into that void (clockwise) that becomes tight and anguish till the center, and get back (counterclockwise) to life. Along the path chimneys (makeover existing ventilation tower) and cuts (like wagons high windows) in the wall (near the trains rails) will help to get deep in feelings. From the entrance gate to the center of the spiral the walls are high and cold just with one inscription: π number. Close linked to Jewish Kabbalah, can represent within it every number, everything referable to a number (dates, periods, people, relations, prison id etc). So everyone (the grandfather to his grandchild) can find and trace back to a particular fact or person to remember, write it down and share it. Make other people sympathetic and building this place with memories.
topics> spiral, Kabbalah, labyrinth, numbers, memory.
